2700 HENNEPIN RETAIL

2700 Hennepin is a new retail project with ambitions to become a community asset and landmark. The 6,000 square-foot project is located along Minneapolis’ Hennepin Avenue, a major retail conduit connecting southwestern residential neighborhoods to the downtown. The developer was interested in creating a pedestrian friendly project with a warm, and very visible street edge. The design combines black stained cedar with a natural wood surfaced phenolic resin panel as well a 16’ high glass curtain wall. The glazed corner at the northeast corner captures attention at the intersection while a drive up window allows convenient coffee service on the south end of the building.
