Bremer Bank Duluth

Duluth, Minnesota

This 3,000-square-foot bank branch TI in a mixed-use building in Duluth, Minnesota, was designed as one of the first branches to incorporate the elements of the Bremer Bank Playbook — the design guidelines we developed for the bank’s entire system and branding efforts — and the Satellite Typologies, which was developed by Snow Kreilich shortly prior to construction.

Designed for a smaller staff, the Duluth location features a glass storefront, which opens onto a small plaza. There are two “partner tables” rather than a traditional bank teller line for improved service and stronger banker-customer relationships. There are also four open workstations, four offices, a conference room and workshop space. The plaza elements are punctuated by screen walls and ceiling clouds constructed of blackened steel plates and angles, a reference to Duluth’s industrial heritage.
