Bremer Bank’s Midway location property was sold to a developer for a multi-use housing development. This provided the opportunity to design a Pit-Stop typology to be housed in the first level of the new development. Located across from Allianz field in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul, this primarily retail location provided Bremer the opportunity to test the playbook concepts of the Pit-Stop for the first time. The design is intended to pick up on the transit-oriented nature of the Snelling-University nature, and fit into the sports and future apartment district via a brightly lit, digital media branded location for quick access to basic retail banking services. The location features a drive-thru lane covered by the second level of the development, which is bordered by a retaining wall at the southern end of the site. The design for this location covers the retaining wall with Bremer-branded metal panels, to connect the drive-thru within the experience of the interior of the bank.
