Three light rail transit stations explore the variation of light and structure in response to specific urban places. Sites include a two-level station spanning a major traffic arterial, and a station located in an immigrant neighborhood. While each station responds to its particular setting, all share a common structural steel system, a fascination with light and transparency, and the use of light transmitting materials. These elements are uniquely combined at each location to underscore movement, arrival and place in the city.
