Ovative Group works with retailers and brands to grow their businesses through multiple digital channels, analysis of customer behavior and optimization of emerging technologies. They have experienced accelerated growth themselves since their founding in 2009. The recent move from a 15,000 SF to their new 40,000 SF workplace will accommodate up to 130 staff when completely occupied.
The company’s unique personality and highly collaborative work process drove the design as well as the intention to convey a respect for and investment in their colleagues that parallels those provided to Ovative clients. A restrained simple material pallet, steel, light wood within a white envelope, forms an atmospheric backdrop to the energy and intensity of the work. Unique spaces include the rooftop lounge and deck, a large work/kitchen, a “feather bowling” court, and the “flight club” which awards prizes for those who use the stairs most frequently.
The Ovative culture is evident in the many collaborative work (and play) spaces provided to enhance the shared culture. The hallmark of this company is a large octopus painted by local muralist Adam Turman. The client describes the octopus as a representation of client data: valuable,
hard to wrestle with, and touching many parts of an organization.
