SHORT RUN PRODUCTION

New Richmond, Wisconsin

Breaking from the conventional separation between management, engineering and production functions, this manufacturing facility house all areas in a single volume, separated only acoustically by steel framed glass wall. Steel bowstring trusses span offices and production areas, filtering day-light coming from above and the ends of the vaulted roof. Brick walls enclose the offices and production floor. The southeast corner is cut away to form an entry plaza with projecting trusses defining the space.
